Semper Avanti is a local organisation that focuses on international work with young people, including youth exchanges volunteer service and youth initiatives.
The main aims of the association are:

• to promote international co-operation and understanding among young people from different countries and cultures
• to provide young people with the opportunity to gain international experience for personal and professional development
• to encourage involvement of young people in cultural events
• to promote Poland and Lower Silesia in Europe

The main undertakings of our association are:

• International Youth Exchanges - e.g. artistic and educational workshops We organise international youth exchanges that encourage young people to overcome prejudices and learn more about other countries and cultures. This summer we participate in two multilateral exchanges: "Transamazonian" and St. John's Parade. Both will take place in our city in Poland
• Voluntary Service - national and international. The idea of the volunteer service is virtually non-existent in post-communist Poland. Our main aim is promotion of volunteerism among young people by providing educational programs, workshops and as well as volunteering opportunities both locally and abroad. Currently we have 4 local projects in the works which include co-operations with a local museum, an organisation that works with disadvantaged youth and a centre for children with brain disease (00/ PL /24 - 00/ PL /27)
• Conferences, Training and Seminars for young people and youth workers. The organisation also organises educational workshops for secondary school students as well as youth workers.
